Behind the Scenes: Part 1

As promised here is the first post in regards to my latest film Twenty Four Seven. The pictures below were from our shoot last March. We had just 6 days to film the entire 20 minute film shooting back to back on 14 hour days.

Needless to say it was rough, but I wouldn't have had it any other way. The pictures shown were on 2 different shoot days during the week.

My Director of Photograhpy Sean and my camera operator Tram had a 15 foot crane built to do some big sweeping epic shots. The scene we were shooting is near the climactic end where our hero makes his way through an abandoned junkyard.

We filmed from about 8 am till the sun went down around 7 pm and got a lot of amazing cinematic shots. Steve who played the lead "Don" is shown in the blue shirt getting set up for a shot.

The location we shot in couldn't have been more perfect to set the dark gritty mood of the film. Lee my Art Director and Production Designer added a few small touches to an abandoned ice cream truck that plays a key part in the film. More posts to come, keep checking in!
